A light self-observation exercise
Head, Heart or HandsWho was driving in your last few moments?
Jot down a handful of ordinary moments. Say which part took the wheel and when you noticed. No judging - just looking.
1 Your moments free
Up to 6 moments: what happened, which part was driving, the habit that showed, when you noticed, and a short note if you like.

3 Ask for the written reading
One run writes what each moment shows and a small cue to catch it next time, a way to look again at the first moment and how to try the practice. The page re-checks the reply against your log.

How the page reads your log
Each moment counts by when you noticed it: in the moment, a bit later, or only while writing this. Often awake when at least half your moments were noticed in the moment; otherwise caught it later when the moments noticed in the moment or a bit later make at least half; otherwise mostly adrift.
The moment to look at again is the one noticed latest, leaving out moments where you thought of what the other person needed; on a tie, the earliest in your list. The practice comes from the habit that shows most often (not counting that outward habit; on a tie, the habit that appears first): lost in it - stop and see; worried how you came across - turn outward; played a scene in your head - come back to the room; let off steam - let a breath pass; none of these - feel the hand; every moment outward - feet and ears.
This is a light exercise for curiosity, not therapy, diagnosis or professional advice. If your moments feel heavy or keep you from daily life, talk to someone you trust or a qualified professional. Never try a practice while driving or doing anything that needs your full attention. When a moment mentions harm, abuse or danger, the page stops and points to real help instead of a reading.
